For a second I almost lost hold of something special. Had to wrap that thing up real quick! I’m not giving out free passes here, you gotta put in work for this love! Make an effort, ya know. When it comes to my heart, and love…its a situation that shouldn’t be taken lightly. This is your heart we’re talking about! Mine too. It’s been through some stuff before but I made a promise to do it right this time around, and I’m sticking to it.
Proverbs 23 Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.
Listen here, your heart, that’s a precious thing right there, and you shouldn’t let any random buster tell you otherwise! Hey…tell ’em to come correct if they try to take advantage of that heart of yours! (And you gotta say it with a little attitude lol!) Tell whoever it is that’s trying to make way, handle with care and pursue after it the right way.
Look in the mirror, go ahead take a good look at yourself. Look past the face you plaster on every morning, the makeup and matte lipstick. Don’t you see how beautiful you are. Yes, you have a pretty face, but look how marvelous you are inside. Do you see your strength? Courage? Ambition? Power? Gentleness? Simplicity? Confidence?
Look at her in the mirror, she’s something special. But you already knew that, does he?
We are made up of beautiful contrasts and clever contradictions.
Did you forget that because he failed to recognize all you had to offer? If you don’t see it, who else will? They should be in awe of your splendor. They should be able to see what you stand for by the way you carry yourself.
